We will use this newsletter to keep you updated on expanded service areas and ongoing member benefits of the state charter.

I once again wish to thank you for caring about the future of your Credit Union by participating in the charter conversion vote.

Meanwhile, thousands of members took advantage of KCU’s varied loan offerings throughout ’07 as we funded another record breaking number and dollar amount of loans! These fundings were made possible, in part, by the consistent member response to several savings investment promotions throughout the year.

We also completed a formal Community Outreach Plan during the year and named an Outreach Coordinator to facilitate reaching a greater number of consumers in need of financial education and services.

KCU employees contributed hundreds of hours of volunteer community service time during 2007 and personally donated thousands of dollars to various local charitable organizations. The largest collection of those donations was over $30,000.00 to Kitsap United Way.

These are exciting times to be a Kitsap Credit Union member. You are part of a dynamic Safe, Sound, and Secure Financial Cooperative.
